Geffen Quest - Mage Hunter Quest (Daily Quest)

GEFFEN QUEST - Mage Hunter Quest

This quest procedure are actually easy but it might take you long depending on your luck. 
This involves entering the PVP Room which is very risky because there might be aggresive players.
I just made the steps in detailed.

You can use this as a good source of income although it will take you time, patience and effort.

Required Level: 
Must be Level 30+ 
(But based on my experience, I wasn't able to take the quest with my level 54 ninja. 
When I got level 55, I was able to start the quest)
Requirements: 
500z (For PVP Entrance Fee)
Rewards:
• Base Experience depending on your level
• Job Experience depending on your level
• 1 Geffen Magic Coin (for non-premium users)
• 2 Geffen Magic Coins (for premium users)

You can exchange your Geffen Magic Coins for Items

Note: This quest is REPEATABLE for 
once every 20 hours per character.
Geffen Magic Coin: non-tradable, non-kafrable

QUEST PROCEDURES

STEP 1: Go to Geffen and talk to [Quest] Mage Hunter.
NPC: [Quest] Mage Hunter
Location: lower center, near Maroll Battle Recruiter NPC, left of Kafra
Coordinates: Geffen 111 66

STEP 2: Tell him that you want to help catch the Rebel Mage.
You may either choose any of the choices.
Then he will tell you where your target is hiding, in the PVP Room and will give you Goodluck.

TIPS: If you choose the second option, the conversation will be shorter.

STEP 3: Go to the nearest PvP Inn. Inside the Inn, talk to the Gate Keeper

Choose "Proceed to 'PVP Yoyo Mode' Fight Square".

Then choose "Move" and you'll be teleported to the PvP Waiting Room. 

You'll need 500 Zeny for Admission Fee.

the nearest PvP Inn is located at the north east part of Geffen

TIPS: I suggest that you SAVE in the PVP Inn so when you get killed,
you'll be able to go back again.

STEP 4: Head to the Fight Square Reception "No Limit". Choose Izlude.

TIPS: Bring some items that could help you increase your movement speed
or  use any Hiding Skill or Accessory to help you avoid being killed by aggressive players.

STEP 5: Now, find the [Quest] Rebel Mage. 

Talk to him, disagree with his idea and make him surrender himself.

If spotted, just stand next him to trigger the pop-up dialog will appear. 

Note: 

• Just talk to the Rebel Mage until they surrender. They will try to cast a spell on you like Thunderbolt and Meteor Storm. You will know you failed to make them surrender if the spell casted on you succeeded.

• If you failed in capturing the Rebel Mage, head to the next location. 

• The pattern for the appearance of the Rebel Mage starts from the upper right, center, lower left, then back to upper right.

• If a player talks to the Rebel Mage before you, he will immediately go the next location after their conversation is done.

TIPS: Be careful once you entered the PvP room.You might encounter aggressive players. As much as possible, use the paths where you will not attract any attention like behind the walls or staying close to the sides. Avoid crossing the center area. Badluck might strike so have extreme patience.

There are three locations where you could find the Rebel Mage.

1.) Upper Right of the Izlude PvP Map.
Coordinates: PvP: Room Izlude(pvp_y_8-2) 158 175

2.) Middle of the Izlude PvP Map.
Coordinates: PvP: Room Izlude(pvp_y_8-2) 158 175

3.) Lower Left of the Izlude PvP Map.
Coordinates: PvP: Room Izlude(pvp_y_8-2) 158 175

STEP 6: Go back to the [Quest] Mage Hunter (starting NPC) and he will reward you with Base Exp, Job Exp, and 1 Geffen Magic Coin(for non-premium users)/2 Geffen Magic Coin (for premium users).

EXCHANGING GEFFEN MAGIC COINS

There are three quest where you could gain Geffen Magic Coins.

Geffen Quest - Gloria's Study (Daily Quest) - not available

After gaining your rewards from the quest,

exchange your Geffen Magic Coins + Zenny 
for a Magic Scroll (also known as Geffen Scroll) 

or for a Headgear (Soulless Wing or Hairband of Regeinlief) to Cindy.

STEP 1: Talk to Cindy and choose the option,"Exchange Magic Coin"

Cindy is located at Geffen 111 104. It is lower left of the Geffen Tower.

STEP 2: Choose from the Rewards and exchange your Geffen Magic Coins + zeny. 

Don't forget to have the required Zeny.

NOTE: The effect of the Magic Scroll last for 30 minutes and persist through death (so if you die, you don't need to use another one... what a waste! I experienced it before though. Stupid Me! )

Soul Scroll (Increase your Max HP and SP by 5%)

exchange 1 Geffen Magic Coin + 12500 Zeny

Armor Scroll (+10 Def and +10 Flee)

Prayer Scroll (+5 MDEF and +10 Perfect Dodge)

exchange 1 Geffen Magic Coin + 15000 Zeny

Immune Scroll (Take Less 5% Neutral Damage )

Battle Scroll (+5% Physical Damage and +5% Aspd)

Mystic Scroll (+5% Magical Damage and Less 5% Casting Time)

exchange 1 Geffen Magic Coin + 20000 Zeny

Cranial Scroll (Take 5% Less Damage from Demi Humans)

Royal Scroll (Take 5% Less Damage from Boss Monsters)

Buster Scroll (+5% more damage to Angel, Holy and Boss Monsters)

exchange 540 Geffen Magic Coin + 2000000 Zeny

Hairband of Reginleif

A head accessory which is named after Valkyrie Reginleif.
If someone wear this, they can get the bless of god.
Increase resistance against Water, Fire, Undead, Ghost Property by 5%.

Soulless Wing

A halo and a pair of wings that are floating above a head.
The item makes the wearer to look like a spirit that is walking on the earth.
MDEF + 2
Add a 1% chance of auto casting Level 1 Assumptio 
on the user when the user receives Physical Damage.
