Geffen Quest - Master Thief Quest (Daily Quest)

GEFFEN QUEST - Master Thief Quest

This quest is actually easy and it doesn't take that long. I just made the steps in detailed.

You can use this as a good source of income although it will take you time and effort.

Required Level: 
Must be Level 21+ (novice class not included)
Required Items: 
10 pcs. Green Herbs
Rewards:
• Base Experience depending on your level
• Job Experience depending on your level
• 1 Geffen Magic Coin (for non-premium users)
• 2 Geffen Magic Coins (for premium users)

You can exchange your Geffen Magic Coins for Items

Note: This quest is REPEATABLE for 
once every 20 hours per character
Geffen Magic Coin: non-tradable, non-kafrable

QUEST PROCEDURES

STEP 1: Go to Geffen and talk to the Geffen Enforcer.
NPC: Geffen Enforcer
Location: at the Center of Geffen Town, right side of Geffen Tower
Coordinates: Geffen 127 115

STEP 2: Hear out the latest danger Geffen is facing and offer to help.
Listen to his story and answer "What happened?"
Then lend him a hand and answer "I'll catch him for you"

TIPS: Just talk to the Geffen Enforcer and press "ENTER" until he finishes his talk. 

STEP 3: Now, search for the Injured Master Thief in the following locations:
1. Geffen 175 98
2. Geffen 138 30
3. Geffen 77 96
4. Geffen 147 163
~Arrest the master thief if you spot him by standing next to him to trigger the pop-up dialog box.
Notes:
•The Master Thief shows up at one point at a time and changes position when a quester triggers its dialog.
• If a player talks to the thief before you, he will immediately change hiding places to any of the ones listed. 
• There's also a possibility that you will be disconnected if two players walked near the NPC at the same time.
• The order of the Master Thief's hiding place or where he would appear: (Clockwise)

Just stand next to him and there would be a pop-up dialog
then press ENTER until the the dialogue is finished :)

STEP 4: After speaking with the Master Thief, report back to the Geffen Enforcer and talk to him.

STEP 5: The Enforcer will thank you for capturing the thief, but inform you that the wounds the thief suffered were grave, and that people, even thieves deserve to live. So he’ll ask you to bring him 10 Green Herbs.
TIPS: Make sure you have 10 Green Herbs in your inventory. :)


STEP 6:  Bring 10 Green Herbs to the Geffen Enforcer.

TIPS: I suggest you to bring the required items in before you take the quest
so you will not need to search for it in the middle of the quest. 

STEP 7: After curing the thief, the Enforcer will ask you to inform their Captain found in Alberta. The Enforcer will teleport you to Alberta.

STEP 8: Report to the Captain Enforcer.

STEP 9: After reporting the Captain Enforcer, will reward you with Base Exp, Job Exp, and 1 Geffen Magic Coin(for non-premium users)/2 Geffen Magic Coin (for premium users).

EXCHANGING GEFFEN MAGIC COINS

After gaining your rewards from the quest,

exchange your Geffen Magic Coins + Zenny 
for a Magic Scroll (also known as Geffen Scroll) 

or for a Headgear (Soulless Wing or Hairband of Regeinlief) to Cindy.

STEP 1: Talk to Cindy and choose the option,"Exchange Magic Coin"

Cindy is located at Geffen 111 104. It is lower left of the Geffen Tower.

STEP 2: Choose from the Rewards and exchange your Geffen Magic Coins + zeny. 

Don't forget to have the required Zeny.

NOTE: The effect of the Magic Scroll last for 30 minutes and persist through death (so if you die, you don't need to use another one... what a waste! I experienced it before though. Stupid Me! )

Soul Scroll (Increase your Max HP and SP by 5%)

Armor Scroll (+10 Def and +10 Flee)

Prayer Scroll (+5 MDEF and +10 Perfect Dodge)

exchange 1 Geffen Magic Coin + 15000 Zeny

Immune Scroll (Take Less 5% Neutral Damage )

Battle Scroll (+5% Physical Damage and +5% Aspd)

Mystic Scroll (+5% Magical Damage and Less 5% Casting Time)

exchange 1 Geffen Magic Coin + 20000 Zeny

Cranial Scroll (Take 5% Less Damage from Demi Humans)

Royal Scroll (Take 5% Less Damage from Boss Monsters)

Buster Scroll (+5% more damage to Angel, Holy and Boss Monsters)

exchange 540 Geffen Magic Coin + 2000000 Zeny

Hairband of Reginleif

A head accessory which is named after Valkyrie Reginleif.
If someone wear this, they can get the bless of god.
Increase resistance against Water, Fire, Undead, Ghost Property by 5%.

Soulless Wing

A halo and a pair of wings that are floating above a head.
The item makes the wearer to look like a spirit that is walking on the earth.
MDEF + 2
Add a 1% chance of auto casting Level 1 Assumptio 
on the user when the user receives Physical Damage.
